Chala Dincoy brings 14 years of business management experience to her coaching practice. As a Brand Marketing Manager for Tier 1 packaged goods companies, she has developed her strategic skills by working in both developing countries as well as in sophisticated markets such as the Canadian packaged goods industry.
As a management trainee in PepsiCo’s international region, she worked for sister companies Pepsi, Pizza Hut and Frito Lay before transitioning to a brand role with Diageo and later Playtex Ltd.. Chala currently manages the Stationery Category brands for Canada with BIC Inc..
While conducting successful branding workshops at the YMCA, The Canadian Business Resource Centre, Dixon Hall, Essential Communications and Youth Employment Services, Chala has drawn on her key interest – applying big company learnings to small, start-up companies.
With a lifelong desire to use her corporate experiences to help managers and business professionals to increase their productivity Chala became a certified NLP coach as well as a Coach U Core Essentials Graduate. She is currently certifying with the International Coaching Federation as a business coach and is a passionate devotee of Dr. Wayne Dyer’s work: www.drwaynedyer.com.
In her not-so-spare time, Chala volunteers with Future Possibilities, guiding the PR & Communications efforts for the Future Possibilities fundraiser, Centre Stage, www.centrestageshow.com. Future Possibilities is organization that develops leadership in children 8-14 years old with one-on-one coaching.
Chala is an ardent scuba diver who has completed her first shark dive. When ashore, her enthusiastic beach volleyball team XSNRG laugh about their consistent losing streak and her baby nieces Jasmine and Leyla keep her well grounded.
